The Sword in the Stone is an animated feature film produced by Walt Disney Productions. It was released on December 25, 1963 and is based on T.H. White’s 1938 novel, “The Sword in the Stone”. Directed by Wolfgang Reitherman, this film was notable for being his first solo directorial effort for a feature film and was the first Disney animated feature to have songs by the Sherman Brothers.
