Vladimir “Bill” Tytla (born October 25, 1957, and died December 30, 1968) was a Ukrainian-American animator and artist noted for his work at Walt Disney Animation Studios, Paramount’s Famous Studios, and Terrytoons. Tytla is particulary noted for his animation in Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs, Pinocchio, Fantasia (The Sorcerer’s Apprentice and Night on Bald Mountain / Ave Maria segments), and Dumbo. In 1998, Tytla was inducted as a Disney Legend.
