The Fairly OddParents is an animated television series created by Butch Hartman. It originated as a series of shorts on Nickelodeon’s animation showcase Oh Yeah! Cartoons from 1998 to 2001 before being developed into a standalone half-hour series for Nickelodeon. The series originally aired from 2001 to 2017, making it Nickelodeon’s second-longest running animated series after SpongeBob SquarePants.
